Maths Teacher — Independent Through School (Secondary-Focused) | Reading

What you’ll do

  • Deliver high-quality KS3–KS4 Maths (KS5 an advantage), with clear routines and crisp explanations

  • Plan, assess and track progress; close gaps and stretch high attainers

  • Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment, clubs and competitions

  • Uphold behaviour standards and play a full part in the pastoral life of the school

You’ll be a great fit if you have

  • QTS/PGCE/QTLS or a strong Mathematics (or closely related) degree with evidence of effective classroom practice

  • Recent success teaching Maths to GCSE (A-level desirable)

  • Excellent subject knowledge, clear communication and consistent behaviour management

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and UK right to work
