SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Eastbourne

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Eastbourne seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their inclusive team. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with Special Educational Needs in reaching their full potential.

The Role:

  • Support children with diverse special educational needs in a primary school setting
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups to facilitate learning and development
  • Implement individual education plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child
  • Create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive

We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, etc.)
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) preferred
  • A proactive, flexible approach and team player mentality
