Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Chapeltown, S35
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Day-to-day / Long-term

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher committed to inspiring students to explore and understand the world around them?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a school in Chapeltown (S35). This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, develop pupils’ geographical skills, and foster a love for the subject.

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating Geography lessons across Key Stages.
  • Encourage students to develop analytical, research, and map-reading skills.
  • Inspire pupils to explore environmental, social, and economic issues.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to support pupils’ overall academic and personal development.

Requirements for Geography Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching Geography at school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, including explanations for any employment gaps.
