Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Bognor Regis
Salary: £90 – £95 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join schools across Bognor Regis.

As an LSA, you will provide vital support to pupils and teachers within the classroom environment. Working with individuals or small groups, you will help children progress academically and socially, ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

What you have to do:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils to support learning.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with their academic and social development.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
  • CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare, Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning needs.
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
