SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Littlehampton
Salary: £85 – £95 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in Littlehampton.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in both one-to-one and small group settings. You will help them engage with the curriculum, develop their confidence, and build essential social and emotional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN in line with individual education plans.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
- Encourage positive learning behaviours and promote independence.
- Support pupils in both academic and personal development.
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure inclusive learning.
- Contribute to a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare, Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification (desirable but not mandatory).
- Previous experience working with children with SEN.
- A caring and resilient attitude with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
