SEN Lead Teaching Assistant

 Location: Newham, E16

 Start Date: 3rd November 2025

 Hours: 8.30am – 4.15pm
 Contract: Full-time, Long-term

GSL Education is seeking an experienced Lead SEN Teaching Assistant to join a modern and supportive school in Newham (E16). This is an exciting opportunity for someone with SEN experience to make a real impact in a dynamic and nurturing educational environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven SEN experience with strong knowledge of ASD
  • Recent school-based experience
  • Able to lead groups when required to
  • Ability to deliver 1:1 SEN support and interventions
  • warm personality with excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to following school policies and contributing positively to the team
