Seeking a Teacher of Science in Southampton, Hampshire!

Job Title: Teacher of Science
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate / After Half Term
Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities of Teacher of Science:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics.
  • Provide tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure all learners achieve their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student development and well-being.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

Requirements of Teacher of Science:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or equivalent overseas teaching qualifications.
  • Prior experience teaching science in a secondary school setting is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to promoting scientific literacy and critical thinking.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in science education (desirable but not essential).
