Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Rotherham (S60)
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Rotherham (S60). As a Behaviour Mentor, this role provides the opportunity to work closely with pupils, support positive behaviour, and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Support pupils in managing behaviour and developing social-emotional skills.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to provide personalised guidance and support.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement behaviour strategies.
- Encourage positive engagement, motivation, and resilience in learning.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teaching staff as needed.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with children or young people in a school or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and pastoral support.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
