Experienced EYFS Teacher – Part-Time to Full-Time Transition
Location: Stockport, UK
Start Date: Asap (Part-Time) → Full-Time from January 2026
Contract: Temp to Perm (12-Month Contract: January–December 2026)

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate EYFS practitioner to step into a transitional part-time role from September, before progressing to a full-time class teacher position from January 2026.
About the Role:
You will work closely with the Early Years team to deliver an inspiring and child-centred curriculum in line with EYFS Framework expectations. From September to December 2025, you’ll be introduced to the school and class in a supportive, phased manner, enabling a smooth and successful transition into your full-time teaching role in January 2026.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, play-based and structured learning across the EYFS curriculum

Support the personal, social, and emotional development of young learners

Carry out formative observations and contribute to learning journals

Foster positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

Work collaboratively with the parallel EYFS teacher to ensure consistency across the 2-form entry setting

Create a stimulating, safe and inclusive classroom environment that reflects best EYFS practices
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven EYFS classroom experience

A deep understanding of child development and the EYFS statutory framework

Confident with assessment and tracking of progress in the Early Years

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a nurturing and patient approach

A reflective practitioner who thrives as part of a collaborative, high-performing team
