Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £13.68 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time for the right candidate
You’ll work closely with teachers and SEN professionals to support students both one-on-one and in small groups. From adapting lesson materials to encouraging positive behaviour, your role will be key in helping students thrive academically and emotionally.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
- Assist in classroom activities and promote inclusive learning.
- Monitor progress and communicate effectively with staff and families.
- Collaborate with external professionals to provide holistic support.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in SEN support or a similar role.
- Uni students are also encouraged to apply.
- A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications or training are a plus.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
