Science Teacher
Location: Lewisham
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: Nov 2025
Contract: Long-term until July 2026
GSL Education London Branch is excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to join a coeducational secondary school in Lewisham. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher who can inspire students and deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
This is an excellent chance for an experienced or newly qualified Science Teacher to make a real difference in a supportive and dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop student knowledge and understanding.

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.

Maintain a positive and safe learning environment in line with school policies.

Support school events, extracurricular activities, and science-related projects.

Contribute to curriculum development and lesson planning.
Requirements:

Qualified teacher or equivalent experience in teaching science.

Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to motivate students and inspire a love of science.

Willingness to contribute to the wider school community.

Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
