Are you a passionate and inspiring Science Teacher looking to engage pupils and develop their scientific understanding?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive school in Hull. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality Science lessons, help pupils develop critical thinking and practical skills, and foster a love for science both inside and outside the classroom.


Role Overview:

As a Science Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. You will encourage curiosity, monitor pupil progress, provide feedback, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.


As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across the curriculum.
  • Develop pupils’ practical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as Science clubs or competitions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.


Requirements for Science Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Experience teaching Science in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to differentiate lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
