Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Shoreham
Salary: £85 – £95 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join schools across Shoreham.
As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and pupils, providing tailored support to help children achieve their full potential. You will assist with classroom activities, support individuals and small groups, and contribute to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils, helping them progress academically and socially.
- Assist pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and a love for learning.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA):
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
- CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning needs.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education
