Location: Rotherham (S65)
Pay Rate: £100– £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated and confident Cover Supervisor to work within schools across Rotherham, providing vital classroom cover and support.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task with their learning. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or individuals looking to build experience in education.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons across a range of subjects using pre-prepared resources.
- Maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and according to school policies.
- Support students with their work and encourage participation.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on classroom progress and behaviour.
Cover Supervisor (CS) Requirements:
- A degree or relevant qualification is desirable.
- CACHE Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistant or equivalent
- Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting or as a Cover Supervisor.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
