GSL Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a special school in Tower Hamlets, where every day is an opportunity to make a real impact.
This is a full-time role, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, supporting pupils who require guidance not just academically, but emotionally and socially too.

Salary: £88 – £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Role Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 and group support for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.

Assisting teachers with structured behaviour plans and learning interventions.

Acting as a role model, helping pupils build confidence and resilience.

Supporting the creation of a safe and inspiring school environment.
Role Requirements:

Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A calm, empathetic, and adaptable attitude.

Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
