Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
GSL Education are seeking passionate and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a welcoming school environment in Sheffield. This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who have autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs.
Your Role as SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Will Include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support.
- Assisting with EHCPs and personalised learning plans.
- Creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Supporting personal care and mobility needs when necessary.
- Encouraging independence, resilience, and social development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Understanding of inclusive education practices.
- Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (preferred but not essential).
