Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEN Setting
Location: Bexley
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time | Monday to Friday

About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work within an SEN provision, supporting pupils with a range of needs such as Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). You’ll provide 1:1 and small group support, help teachers deliver tailored lessons, and ensure each pupil has the encouragement and structure they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Assist teachers with classroom delivery and adapting resources.

Encourage social, emotional, and academic progress.

Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:

A recent graduate (any discipline considered, psychology and education backgrounds desirable).

Genuine interest in working in SEN school settings.

Strong communication, resilience, and empathy.

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
