SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Louth, Lincolnshire
Contract: Long-Term or Supply
Salary: £88 – £105 per day

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in the Louth area. This role is perfect for someone with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a background in the care sector, who is passionate about helping children and young people thrive.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, both in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis. You’ll play a key role in helping learners access the curriculum, develop their social and emotional skills, and build confidence in their abilities.
Responsibilities

Support pupils with SEN in lessons and during activities

Provide 1:1 and small group interventions where required

Promote independence and positive behaviour strategies

Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
Candidate Requirements

Experience working within SEN education or in a care background

Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting learners

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
