Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming school community in Christchurch, starting immediately.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and development. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you’ll help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, tailored to individual learning needs.
- Assist in the implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver effective support strategies.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting, is desirable.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of classroom management strategies.
To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
