Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Bournemouth
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 Annually (MPS/UPS, depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026 / Immediate

About the Role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored education that empowers students to achieve their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where your expertise and dedication will have a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and families
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to support holistic development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in SEN
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teacher, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education
