Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Poole
Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties.
- Work closely with teachers, TAs, and pastoral teams to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and personal growth.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to regular reviews and reports.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting is essential.
- A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and promoting positive outcomes.
- Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour support, youth work, or special educational needs are advantageous.
To work with GSL Education as a Behaviour Support Worker, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
