Pay Scale: M1 – UPS3 (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to work in a school in the Hull area. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and resilient teacher to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND, ensuring both academic progress and personal growth.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to meet diverse learning needs.
- Provide individualised support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement effective support strategies.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and staff.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive.
Requirements for SEN teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
