Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £99 – £115 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you an enthusiastic and confident individual with classroom experience, ready to step into a Cover Supervisor role and support pupils’ learning across UK school?
GSL Education are seeking a Cover Supervisor (CS) to join schools in the Hull area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 3 months of school-based experience to gain valuable classroom exposure while helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain on task.
- Deliver pre-prepared work and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a respectful and safe environment.
- Provide support to pupils across a range of subjects and year groups.
- · Work closely with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity of learning.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
- Minimum of 3 months’ experience within a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A flexible, proactive, and reliable approach to supporting pupils and staff.
- Confidence in working with pupils across Key Stages..
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- · A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
