SEN Instructor – Braintree – £130 to £270/day – September Start
Are you an experienced SEN practitioner looking to take on a rewarding new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Instructor to join a supportive specialist setting in Braintree this September.
This role is ideal for someone with strong SEN experience who is confident in leading learning, delivering tailored sessions, and supporting students with a range of additional needs. You’ll play a key role in helping learners develop both academically and personally, ensuring they are engaged, supported, and given the tools to succeed.
The Role:

Deliver and lead engaging, differentiated lessons for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Work with learners across a range of abilities, including those with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and complex learning needs.

Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment that promotes progress and independence.

Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to adapt learning and provide targeted interventions.

Track student progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
About You:
-
Previous experience working as an SEN Instructor, Teacher, or HLTA with a strong background in SEN.

Confident in managing classroom behaviour and creating a calm, supportive environment.

Patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.

Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
