Role: Maths Teacher

Location: Hull

Salary: M1 – UPS3 (Depending on experience and pay scale)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to work within inclusive schools in Hull, starting immediately. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities for day-to-day supply or long-term placements, and can be tailored to full-time or part-time availability.

Key Responsibilities for the Maths Teacher role:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all Key Stages.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and school life where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS, ECT status, or recognised overseas teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in Mathematics with excellent curriculum knowledge.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for inspiring students to achieve their best in Maths.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
