Job Title: Classroom Support Assistant
Location: Christchurch
Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

Are you passionate about helping young learners thrive in the classroom? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a local school in Christchurch as a Classroom Support Assistant, starting immediately.
About the Role:
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students and teachers to create a positive and productive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students during lessons to enhance engagement and understanding.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
- Encourage positive behaviour and participation.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide feedback on student progress to teaching staff.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, proactive, and encouraging approach to learning support.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education support are advantageous but not essential.
To work with GSL Education as a Classroom Support Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
