Salary: M1 – UPS3 (Depending on experience and pay scale)

Are you a passionate and creative Art and Design Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of artists and designers?
GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic Art and Design Teacher to work in a welcoming school in Hull. This is a flexible opportunity starting in November 2025, with options for both day-to-day supply and long-term placements, available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities of the Art and Design Teacher:
- Deliver engaging Art and Design lessons across all Key Stages.
- Plan creative and practical activities that encourage artistic expression and skill development.
- Support students in exploring a variety of techniques, materials, and media.
- Prepare students for assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners can thrive.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including art clubs and displays of student work.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS, ECT status, or a recognised overseas teaching qualification.
- A subject specialism in Art, Design, or a related creative discipline.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for inspiring creativity and self-expression in young people.
- Flexibility to adapt to either short-term cover or longer placements.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
