Salary: £85 – £95 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Arundel. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they can thrive in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
  • Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Support with personal care where required.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
