Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a successful Mathematics Department. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable). You will be committed to raising achievement, fostering a love of mathematics, and supporting students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their best.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics Department and whole-school initiatives.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities where possible.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching maths.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
