Job Title: Year 6 Teaching Assistant
Location: Newham
Pay: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time (8:30am – 4:15pm)
Are you an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive school environment? GSL Education are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a modern school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during a pivotal stage in their education.
About the Role:
As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils in their final year of primary school. Your will help pupils prepare for their transition to secondary education.
Key Responsibilities of Year 6 TA:
- Support Year 6 pupils with tailored learning strategies and interventions.
- Assist in delivering the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt resources and approaches.
Requirements for Year 6 TA:
- Experience working in KS2, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Recent school-based experience.
- Ability to deliver effective interventions.
