Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to work in schools across Scunthorpe. This role offers a great opportunity to inspire young learners while gaining valuable classroom experience. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the EYFS–KS2 national curriculum.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with a variety of abilities.
  • Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to raise achievement.

Requirements for the Primary Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (placements considered for ECTs).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and supporting pupil development.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
