Maths Teacher
Location: Newham
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term

GSL Education London Branch are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive coeducational secondary school in Newham. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional to inspire and motivate students while helping them succeed in Maths.

As a Maths Teacher, you will play an important role in shaping young learners’ futures, delivering engaging lessons, and ensuring every student achieves their full potential. The school is proud of its welcoming environment and is looking for a Maths Teacher who will bring energy, creativity, and commitment to the classroom.

Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons.

  • Support students to develop strong numeracy skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Assess, record, and track student progress.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Work closely with other teachers and staff to support student learning.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning.

Requirements of Maths Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.

  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
