English & Drama Teacher – Secondary School – Harlow

Location: Harlow
Start Date: ASAP 

Are you a passionate and creative English Teacher who can also bring Drama to life in the classroom?
We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Harlow that is looking for a dedicated English and Drama Teacher to join their team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach English and Drama across all key stages inspiring students to enjoy literature, performance, and creative expression.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ confidence in both written and spoken communication.

  • Support students in achieving their academic goals, preparing them for exams while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

  • Contribute to the wider school community, including drama productions, enrichment activities, and extracurricular clubs.

 

Requirements:

  • A degree in English, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject (essential).

  • QTS or equivalent 

  • ECT's are encouraged to apply
  • Experience teaching or tutoring English and/or Drama at secondary school level.

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.

  • A passion for education, literature, and the performing arts.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
