Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Salary: £95–£120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Behaviour Mentor to join schools across Sheffield.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require guidance in managing their behaviour and engagement in learning. You will work alongside teaching staff to ensure students feel supported, encouraged, and motivated to succeed.
Main Responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor:
- Supporting students to develop positive behaviour strategies.
- Building trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement in lessons.
- Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to promote a positive learning environment.
- Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring sessions.
- Encouraging resilience, self-confidence, and improved social skills.
Behaviour Mentor Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people in a school, youth work, or mentoring role.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
