Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Salary: £150–£250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

If so, GSL Education are seeking an inspiring SEN Teacher to join schools across Sheffield.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with a range of special educational needs. You will create a supportive and inclusive environment, working closely with support staff and parents to ensure every child receives the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students’ individual needs.
  • Supporting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and other support staff.
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.

SEN Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching students with SEN needs.
  • Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting students to achieve their potential.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
