Job Description:
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact on the learning and development of pupils in Upper Key Stage 2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is desirable.

  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.

  • A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to pupil success.

  • Thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
