Salary: £155 – £220 per day (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:
As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that bring the curriculum to life and inspire students to express themselves confidently. You will be responsible for helping students develop performance, communication, and analytical skills while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity.
Your Responsibilities as a Teacher of Drama:
- Plan and deliver dynamic Drama lessons that inspire and challenge students across key stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Teach and support students across key stages, ensuring progress in performance and theory.
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence through drama and theatre.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for assessments, exams, and school performances.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as drama clubs and productions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging schemes of work.
Drama Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Drama in schools is essential.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
