Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour

Right now, we’re looking for Learning Support Assistants to join the team and work across Bournemouth in SEN schools on a supply, full-time/part-time, permanent basis.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom, supporting both teachers and pupils to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to:
- Support children with a range of learning needs, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other SEN.
- Gain hands-on experience in different school settings, including mainstream and SEN schools.
- Work with a variety of age groups across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Build strong relationships and make a genuine impact on children’s learning and development.

Have experience working with children in any capacity (schools, nurseries, youth work, SEN settings, etc.).
- Are passionate, reliable, and enthusiastic about working with children with SEN.
- Can adapt to different school environments with confidence and professionalism.
- Are eager to learn and grow within a school setting.

To work with GSL Education as a Learning Support Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must undergo background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
