Primary Teacher
Location: Worthing
Salary: £150 – £210 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join schools in Worthing, where you will deliver engaging lessons and provide a nurturing classroom environment.

About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative lessons across the primary curriculum. You will encourage students to achieve their full potential, while fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. This role requires flexibility and a passion for developing children academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Support pupils in their academic progress and overall development.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ work, providing feedback to support growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a safe learning space.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
