Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and looking for a rewarding role in education?
GSL Education are working with a primary school in Chelmsford who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team full-time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, is patient and adaptable, and wants to make a difference to pupils’ learning and development.

The Role

  • Work alongside teachers to support learning across the classroom.

  • Provide targeted support for individual pupils, including those with additional needs.

  • Help children to stay focused, engaged, and motivated during lessons.

  • Support with behaviour management and help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.

  • Encourage social skills and confidence, both in and out of the classroom.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children (school, youth work, childcare, or care background considered).

  • A kind, patient, and positive attitude.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Enthusiasm to support children in achieving their potential.
