GSL Education are working with a primary school in Chelmsford who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team full-time.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, is patient and adaptable, and wants to make a difference to pupils’ learning and development.
The Role

Work alongside teachers to support learning across the classroom.

Provide targeted support for individual pupils, including those with additional needs.

Help children to stay focused, engaged, and motivated during lessons.

Support with behaviour management and help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.

Encourage social skills and confidence, both in and out of the classroom.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience working with children (school, youth work, childcare, or care background considered).

A kind, patient, and positive attitude.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Enthusiasm to support children in achieving their potential.
