Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain valuable experience working with children and young people? This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with SEMH, ASC, ADHD and complex behavioural needs in a specialist school setting.

As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be:

  • Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
  • Helping students regulate emotions, manage behaviour and engage in learning.
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to adapt lessons to individual needs.
  • Providing mentoring and pastoral support to help build resilience and confidence.

As the Ideal candidate, you should have:

  • A degree in Psychology (or final year of study).
  • A passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
  • Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply).
