Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (EYFS – KS2)
Location: Scunthorpe
Pay Rate: £88.94 – £114.84 per day (based on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a nurturing school environment in Scunthorpe. About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide personalised support across EYFS to KS2. Whether through one-on-one sessions or small group interventions, your role will be vital in helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant ( SEN TA)

  • Support teachers in planning and delivering inclusive learning experiences.
  • Provide targeted interventions for children with a range of SEN needs.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, contributing to reviews and planning.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)

  • Experience working across EYFS to KS2.
  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN.
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN or education (desirable).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
