Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Dronfield (S18)
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Day-to-day / Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work in schools in Dronfield (S18). As a Behaviour Mentor, this role provides the opportunity to support pupils in managing their behaviour, building confidence, and achieving their full potential in a safe and structured learning environment.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to address behavioural, social, and emotional challenges.
- Support pupils to develop self-regulation, resilience, and positive relationships.
- Implement behaviour management strategies under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and development.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to provide holistic support.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
