Job Details:
- Role: SEN ASC Teaching Assistant
- Location: Hounslow
- Salary: £88 – £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with ASC.
- Assist teachers in adapting and delivering lessons to meet individual needs.
- Encourage students’ independence, communication skills, and confidence.
- Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
- Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with Autism (ASC) or special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with children.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
