Sports Coach
Location: Killamarsh (S21)
Salary: £95 – £120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dynamic Sports Coach to join schools in Killamarsh, where you will play a vital role in motivating students, developing their sporting skills, and promoting teamwork and resilience.

About the Role:

As a Sports Coach, you will lead engaging PE sessions, support extra-curricular activities, and encourage pupils to embrace healthy lifestyles. You will also have the opportunity to use sport as a tool to improve behaviour, focus, and confidence, making a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.

Sports Coach Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and lead a variety of sports and physical education sessions.
  • Support and encourage students to participate in activities with enthusiasm and confidence.
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and fair play among pupils.
  • Organise and supervise extra-curricular clubs, sports fixtures, and events.
  • Adapt activities to meet the needs of all learners, including those with different abilities.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, inspiring them to achieve their personal best.
  • Assist in general classroom support when required.

Skills & Requirements for Sports Coach:

  • Sports-related degree, coaching qualifications, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience coaching or teaching sports in schools or youth settings.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills.
  • Experience in coaching different UK sports with children or young people.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
