Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Dronfield (S18)
Pay Rate: £150 – £250 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Day-to-day / Long-term

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential?

GSL Education are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a school in Dronfield (S18). This role provides the opportunity to deliver personalised learning, support social and emotional development, and create a safe, inclusive environment for all students.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of SEN pupils.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to ensure holistic support.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times.

Requirements for SEN Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience teaching SEN pupils in primary or secondary schools.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, interventions, and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
