Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £95 – £113 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Doncaster. As a CS, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic settings and is keen to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
  • Ensure pupils remain focused and engaged with their learning.
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain a calm classroom environment.
  • Provide feedback to teachers regarding lesson progress and any issues.
  • Support students with their learning where appropriate.
  • Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor:

  • Previous experience working with pupils is desirable.
  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible, proactive, and positive approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
