PMLD Teaching Assistant – Immingham

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Immingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), helping them to access education in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with PMLD.

Assist with personal care needs and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

Support pupils in developing communication, independence, and life skills.

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver tailored learning opportunities.

Create a positive, nurturing environment where all students can thrive.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous SEN education experience or experience in a care setting.

Be patient, empathetic, and resilient with a genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs.

Have strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Be flexible and proactive in adapting to students’ individual needs.

Hold a current enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education).
