Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School
Start Date: Immediately
Location: Felixstowe
Salary: £90 - £110 per day

We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in Felixstowe , supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
Role responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to students within the provision.

Support students in developing positive behaviour strategies, resilience, and coping skills.

Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and improve self-confidence.

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement behaviour support plans.

Act as a positive role model, promoting inclusion and supporting emotional well-being.

Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide feedback to staff.
The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with young people with behavioural, social, or emotional needs.

Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

A proactive approach and commitment to helping students succeed.

An understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
