Drama Teacher

Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 – MPS/UPS
Contract: 0.6 Timetable, 3 day per week, Temporary

Are you a passionate Drama Teacher looking for a part-time role where you can inspire and engage young people? GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and creative Drama Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in North Yorkshire. This is a temporary position starting in September or October 2025.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages, as well as teaching three Art lessons and one English lesson each week. The ability to adapt across these subjects while maintaining enthusiasm and high standards is essential.

As the ideal Drama Teacher, you will:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent such as QTLS or a Cert Ed.
  • Have experience teaching Drama, with additional ability in Art and English.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Show creativity, flexibility, and the ability to inspire students.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and the welfare of young people.
